The client wanted to extend the 17th century cottage over half the existing flat roof and create a room that will take in the views of the surrounding landscape. We have created a calm space that allows plenty of natural light in throughout the day. The client is an artist who uses the space to begin sketching out ideas, before they take to painting canvases in their workshop.
