The barn has been in the client's family for three generations and had fallen into disrepair. They wanted to maintain the existing character, so the interventions are simple and subtle. We have renovated the interior of the property throughout and extended to create two additional bedrooms. The adjacent stone shed will be transformed into a sauna and recreational area. The corrugated steel roof will be replaced with timber shingles.
