The existing bungalow is an old stone cottage that has been neglected over the years. We have proposed to strip back the modern render to reveal the stone walls. The ceilings in the existing house will be removed to reveal the truss roof. The outbuilding attached to the side will become the entrance and boot room. This leads to the new link which wraps around the back of the house and contains an ensuite and family bathroom. We have extended to the rear, creating a sleek glass and steel low profile extension. This addition has three small bedrooms and a large kitchen-diner.
