This new build is a detached two bedroom house. It is modular timber frame construction and designed to Passivhaus Standards. The structural insulated timber frame panels will be built off-site, delivered to site in sections and put together within a few days. The material palette will be modest and use locally sourced timber cladding and steel roof. Solar shading over the windows to the habitable areas reduces overheating and glare. Photovoltaics on the Southerly roof will provide a renewable energy source.
